Dr. Nisa Joins Family Medicine Center - Marion
Marion General Hospital is pleased to welcome Nuzhat Nisa, M.D., to its medical staff.
Dr. Nisa earned her M.D. from Rawalpindi Medical College University of Punjab and completed her internship at Rawalpindi General Hospital and Fauji Foundation Hospital, all in Pakistan.
Her residency was completed at the University of North Dakota Minot Center for Family Medicine, Bismarck, North Dakota.
Dr. Nisa is certified in the following: Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO).
She joins the talented staff and practitioners at Family Medicine Center - Marion, located at 330 N. Wabash Ave., Suite 370. Dr. Nisa is currently accepting new patients. Her office can be reached at 765.662.3999.
Dr. Timothy Drinkard to Lead ER Staff
Marion General Hospitalis pleased to welcome Timothy Drinkard, D.O., to its medical staff. Dr. Drinkard received his D.O. from Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI, and completed his internship at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital, Pontiac, MI.
He is board certified in emergency medicine and comes to Marion with 25 years of ER experience served throughout Indiana and Michigan. Most recently, he worked as a physician at MGH's emergency room.
Dr. Drinkard's past experience and expertise will serve MGH ER patients and staff well as he officially begins his new duties as Emergency Room Medical Director. He and his wife of 36 years, Linda, live in Marion.
Returning Physician Joins Marion Family Practice
Marion General Hospital is pleased to welcome Brenda K. (Bardsley) Woods, M.D., FAAFP, to its medical staff. She is a Marion native and a graduate of Marion High School. With the return to her hometown community, she brings 20 years of experience in family practice.
Dr. Woods received her bachelor's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, (Marion, IN.) and her M.D. from the Indiana University School of Medicine (Indianapolis, IN.) Her internship was served at the same location. Dr. Woods' residency was completed at Community Hospitals of Indianapolis.
She is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Adolescent Medicine.
Dr. Woods joins the talented physicians and staff at Marion Family Practice, located at the Northwood Medical Center, 1391 N. Baldwin Avenue.
