Smoker Selected for New Role

Susan Smoker, R.N., MSN, CPHRM, has been selected to fill the position of Marion Health Corporate Compliance/Privacy Officer. She will begin her new duties immediately.

Her first job in 1979 at Marion Health was working as a registered nurse in medical/surgical. Since then, Smoker has worked in various leadership positions in her 31-year MGH career, all of which provided knowledge to help her in her new role.

In addition to her new duties, she will continue to serve as Marion Health Patient Representative and Risk Manager.

Smoker received her MSN from Indiana University- Purdue University Indianapolis. She and her husband, Mike, are life-long residents of Grant County.
