Acute Rehabilitation Care

Marion Health Rehabilitation

The Marion Health Rehabilitation Hospital is a unit/program dedicated to providing comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation to people with recent illnesses or injuries with the goal of preparing them to return home. Patients must qualify for admittance to the program per their insurance company's guidelines.

All of the rooms in the Center are private, and one (the transition room) provides a homelike atmosphere to better ensure a safe return home. Patients receive therapy in a large gym area, in their room or in the transition apartment. There is also an activities room and dining room to help with socialization. Patients participate in three hours of therapy a day utilizing at least two out of three different therapies (physical, occupational or speech).
