MGH would like to congratulate you if you have made the life choice to
quit smoking. We are committed to support you toward your goal of becoming
smoke free. Grant County, Indiana has the second highest rate of smoking
in the state.
Tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable death and disease in the
U.S., making it critically important that prevention and cessation programs
are available to help people break their tobacco addiction for good.
It’s never too late to quit smoking. Quitting smoking now improves
your health and reduces your risk of heart disease, cancer, lung disease,
and other smoking-related illnesses.
MGH is committed assisting our community in bridging the journey to healthy
living, free from smoking.
We are proud to provide leadership in the following areas to help provide
education and support.
- TORCH – (tobacco coalition)
- Freedom from Smoking Classes
- Baby & Me - Tobacco Free Program
- Heart and Lung Health Classes
Thank you for respecting MGH’s policy for a smoke free campus.
