Marie Webster Quilt Guild Makes Donation to MGH Newborns

National Quilting Day was March 21, 2015. To honor the day, the Marie Webster Quilt Guild of Marion, Indiana donated a quilt to the first girl and boy born on or after that special day at MarionGeneralHospital.

This is a community outreach project of the quilt guild, which operates under the auspices of The Quilters Hall of Fame.

The boy’s quilt was stitched by Kathy Boxell and Jocelyn Smith crafted the girl’s quilt. The quilts were presented to the two families by Joyce Hostetler and Smith, members of the Marie Webster Quilt Guild.

P'Teasa Clemons and Barry Dunn, and their daughter, Marley, received the beautiful pink quilt, and Kristina Long, and her son, Juan, received the handsome blue quilt.

Both newborns and their respective families were appreciative of the generosity shown by the Marie Webster Quilt Guild.
