Marion General Hospital Welcomes Linda Simpkins, NP-C

Marion Health is pleased to welcome Linda Simpkins, NP-C to its medical staff.

Linda Simpkins, NP-C earned her Master of Science in Nursing (nurse practitioner) from Indiana Wesleyan University and her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Bringing 30 years of quality experience, she began her career at Marion Health 12 years ago. Simpkins has also been the director and an instructor for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for the past 10 years for the emergency and critical care departments.

Simpkins will join the talented surgical physicians as a Marion Health hospitalist, providing coordinated care to surgical patients while in the hospital.

The Marion Health Hospitalist Program provides patients with increased access to physician and nurse practitioner care during their hospitalization. Hospitalists only see patients in the hospital, which enables them to be more immediately available to treat patients and begin coordinating their care.
