Marion General Hospital Offering Free Pregnancy Tests

Marion General Hospital is currently offering a free clinical pregnancy test. The tests are available at the Family Birthing Center, as well as Great Beginnings (which houses our Baby & Me Tobacco Free program).

Marion Health wants all infants to have the best start in life – beginning at conception. All women are encouraged to begin risk appropriate health care in the early stages of pregnancy.

"If you have been sexually active and think you might be pregnant it is important to take the next step and test for pregnancy,” said Gail Elbert, Administrative Director of Maternal Child and Great Beginnings. “There are some alarming statistics in Indiana regarding infant mortality, preterm births and low birth weight babies. At Marion Health, we are so excited to be able to offer this free service to assist young women in their healthcare journey and receiving the services they need.”

The pregnancy test is provided by FBC staff free of charge 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. A nurse is available for questions or concerns. For more information, call the Family Birthing Center at 765-660-6860. MGH is making a difference – one baby at a time.
